Even when students take a certain course because they are really interested in the subject, this still doesn’t mean that they enjoy every aspect of it. You might love the specialty you’ve chosen and the things you learn and still struggle with some things. Like essay writing, for example.
The trickiest thing about essay writing is that requires more than just the ability to write well (which could be a struggle on its own for some students). Proper paper writing includes a lot of research and an ability to form strong arguments to defend your point of view. It also requires knowledge about how to present your thoughts on paper right, how to catch the attention of the reader (or the readers) and to hold it until the very end.
But even if you didn’t do a lot of essay writing in high school, this doesn’t mean you’ll be so lucky in college. College essays are even more challenging to write than high school ones, and students often get assigned a lot of them. And while you might handle writing about the subjects you enjoy, writing about the other subjects could be a real struggle.
